Daddy's Home!

Daddy came home mid afternoon yesterday. Our family is back together again! He smelled stinky, mum says like camp fire, whatever it was, it was gone after he showered!

THEN we went for a nice walk and got to lay outside in the beautiful weather! I layed outside while mum & dad rubbed my belly.... the breeze was blowing... the sun was shining : ) It was a great afternoon : )


Mum keeps finding random pictures of me to post... i keep telling her she needs to take more new ones of me to show off! Mum loves my silky soft and SHINY coat! anyways, we're back together and now its time to do some more napping!

Hehe, we've had a great day today! After a great night sleep in bed, mum and i went for a walk and then went over to auntie Liz's house. I stayed in Lucy's crate while mum and Liz went to the craft show. When they came back Mum realized i DID NOT pee in Lucy's crate. So why do i pee in my own crate?!?!? hehe, we'll see if mum is smart enough to figure it out! I also have never peed in Jetta's or Maddie's crate. : ) Aren't i smart?!?!

So any ways, we're here relaxing and if mom stops petting me one more time then I'm going to have to ...have to...BARK! hahah : ) ya, we'll see about that : )

It's me and Mommy this weekend!

Well, dad is off to the cabin with uncle zach & nate... which means mum & I have the whole weekend to ourselves! And whats the first thing mum does after dad leaves? she VACUUMS! i hate the vacuum, but i was a good girl and sat on the bed until she finished in the bedroom. Then Auntie Linsdsay came over and i got to snuggle with her & mum while they chit-chatted... and now we're relaxin' in bed & taking it easy : )

And the best part?!?! I GET TO SLEEP IN BED FOR THE NEXT 2 NIGHTS! Now, don't get me wrong, we're going to miss dad terribly, but mum & I will survive, *sniff, sniff*

an eventful weekend

Well it was quite the weekend i must say, but we topped it off with a nice relaxing afternoon at granny & papa's pool. Mum & I stayed in the shade but it was warm, so we headed to the shade at the edge of the pool... and slowly made it into the water. Mum was very patient and didn't rush me so it actually was kinda nice to cool off! She never let me out of her arms so i never felt unsafe.

We sat over on the steps (seen in this pic) for a while which was nice and relaxing : ) Then mum got a little adventuresome so we went wandering... After our pool escursion i let mum know i had enough so she towelled me off and we sat in the shade, and true to form, i napped : )

After the pool and outside fun we went inside and had some great eats! I even got some yummy meat and carrots and of course home-made cherry vanilla icecream! Then i took a nap next to mum while everyone chit-chatted.

Before I go for the evening i'd just like to thank my Godmamma for her kind words and support. (and for noticing what a sleek looking girl i've become!) Mum, Dad, & I have really appreciated all thats been said to us over the past half year and this weekend. So thank you, our smiles are just a little bigger & brighter as a result.

I'm out, time for more naps! A face as beautiful as mine doesn't happen in 20 short minutes! It takes time and dedication to the art of beauty sleep!

Well, my fam & I spent the weekend at Gram & Pap Rowe's house with Maddie, Lucy & her family... The pics say it all, well just about : )

I'm really enjoying daddy's new job... mom & dad have different schedules so i'm not in my crate as much : ) More snuggling and loving for me!

Mum & Dad bought me this orbo when we visited Granna & Grandpa.. its minty & i'm pretty good about getting the food out of it! Too smart for the toy!

Mum says i'm getting really comfy with other people and in new places! We visited Nate & Christy this weekend and I made myself right at home!!! walking around, laying in the kitchen... it was great! I even got to lay on Dan's lap all evening!

I'm getting better with being nice around guys... especially, Nate, Dan, Grandpa, & of course Daddy... boy do I love him. He takes such good care of me.

taking it easy

Just taking it easy over here in PA... nothing very exciting .... just a lot of heat and humidity which means laying in the A/C, taking shorter naps and sleeping in with mum on the weekend : )

Also, mom got some stuff from the caninine medicine chest to help get rid of my tumors naturally... which means i get to eat a lot : ) we'll see how it works... i also got some vitamins, minerals and other fun things to help me continue to feel better : )

Daddy's new job is going well and these last few weeks i've been able to stay outa my crate more : ) its been a nice vacation : )

Also, we're going to visit grandma & grandpa Rowe in MD next weekend and i'm excited! I promise i'll be nice to Miss Maddie : )

And Mum just told me we get to go to the outerbanks in the fall! I've never been but my mum & dad talk about it alot and are really excited, so i'm sure its going to be great!

My hair is almost all grown back on my ears now... which i hope it stays that way cause mum keeps rubbing my ears....i hope the hair doesn't fall off! mmm i love cuddling with her though!

I loved my 4th of July weekend!

Hello All! I had a great 4th of july weekend up in MA with my mum, dad, granna, grandpa, bug, katie & my cousins. I was feeling rather photogenic all weekend and dad, my personal photographer made sure he got all the good shots!

After a 9.5 hr drive...silly traffic.. i got to sleep in the back... grandpa was more excited to see me than my mum!

Due to a few reasons, my horsey friends are being "boarded" up north so Jetta, Stretch and I got to run around... we had a good time, and i managed a few treats out of the deal...

I like to call this shot "pensively beautiful"

We had a cook out at my great grams and gramps on sunday and Azure, Jaden and Kelli thought i was pretty special... and who am i to disagree?!?!

I was just so happy to have a vacation, i couldn't help but smiling and looking angelic

I got to see my buddy Jetta again. He took good care of me, he guarded me at night before we went to sleep and we found all kinds of cool stuff in the yard together. Mum & Dad didn't even worry about me! Jet even let me sleep on his bed! of course i shared 1 of my new Zuke's with him so i guess it was an even trade! (Mum & Dad got me *10* new zuke z-ridges!)

It was such a great trip! And this WHOLE week, Dad's been off work... he starts a new music therapy job on monday so he had 3 extra days off, lets just say its been GREAT! I even found a pen to chew on last night!

Just so you know, we didn't get any flooding here in our neck of the woods... we stayed as dry as we could, although i was still wet!! I hate the rain and man, it rained for weeks! but now i'm dry and cool as a cucumber!

Oh oh! Mum & Dad also bought me an Orbo by planet dog and it smells like mint!! and i have some sams yams samples and mum & dad are going to buy me more because i like them! its great being an only child!

Mum says we're heading up to visit grandpa and granna in Massachuuseeettts : ) I'm excited!! No leash cause they have fenced in yards, a pond to swim in, aunts and uncles to harrass, grandpa's lap to sleep on and lots of walks. Mum also says her a/c is getting fixed in her car so i can have a comfy ride : ) I don't know what a/c is, but i'm taking her word for it.

It's been rainy here lately and i've got myself in bed TWO times in the past week! I'm such a smart little girl. Mum and I had an easy saturday, we got up early to deliver food to friends in Ephrata but then we took a nice LONG nap in the afternoon and then plato and his parents came over for another visit. And now i'm watching a movie through my eyelid with my daddy, another trait mum says i get from grandpa.

HAPPY DADDY'S DAY!

I've had a busy week and therefore haven't had time to update... but here I am and ready to go!Hehe, well, sorta... here daddy & I are pretending to sleep so mum can take a cute picture : )

Plato Plates came over with his mum & dad sat evening... i was a little miffed, but i got over it... he's not such a bad guy. we went for a little walk together and then we hung out... but he decided to sleep on the chair so i got my comfy bed out for a bit

I like to do my part around the house and help clean up, so i'm helping daddy finish his snack

It was a lot of work being so cute all week! so I took lots of naps! speaking of which, maybe i should go find a nice warm place to relax : )

wireless internet

My mom & dad just got wireless hooked up and now i can be a couch potatoe AND update my blog! I've just been relaxing and takin it easy...

oh, oh, my beautiful coat is growing back on my ears!!! I need mom to take a picture of it, but there's peach fuzz on the tips and around the edges! I'm so proud of myself!

hmmm lots of naps and treats this week... been going pretty well if i do say so myself! off to bed!!

Thank you for all your love and kindess to me Godmama. My mom and dad are great, but you can never replace a godmama and a foster mama. You helped me through a lot when i first got to the shelter. You helped me learn that i can let me be me! Living in Georgia wasn't easy, but you were one of my first friends! So thank you! And the treats, hugs, kisses, and snuggles weren't so bad either ; ) I will never forget you and all that you did for me. Maybe some day we'll see each other again.
My mom and dad are really thankful and greatful that you and the Small Animal Rescue took such good care of me. If you didn't, I may still not have a home. We all thought I would be there forever (and no one knows why, who wouldn't want such a cute, cuddly, spunky Boston Terrier?!?!). But my family came at last! And of course, Godmama, I will be an ambasaadory for all the little doggies who were thought to be "unadoptable" and found forever homes. Maybe I should come up with a secret hand shake (or butt sniff) for that special group of us!

Ok, well, thats it, thanks Godmama. Mom and Dad are cooking a WHOLE chicken in the crockpot and I dont wanna miss ANY of that action!

what's an annaversary?

Hi guys, its me, my mum and dad are celebarating thare annaversary this weekend, whatever the heck that is! It's nice though, because i had a nibble of chinese food last night (although i was a little more gassy than normal....), my own personal pancake this morning and I bet there is more to come!

The weather finally broke so now its cooler out and I can handle longer walks again. Its tough having a short nose!

oh, ya, i almost forgot, pictures of the day before Plato's parents got married, Matt & Amanda. I was allowed to come and it was fun! this was memorial day weekend...thursday and friday night that is. It was nice, on friday night i got to spend time with Auntie Lindsay! we had lots of fun on Etown campus! And then i wasn't stuck in my crate ALL day! my mum and dad love me very much!

Hehe, a few nights ago there was a thunder storm and mum put me in bed around 1230 for a little bit (and she fell right to sleep so i did too... no shaking for me!). But the next night or two, there was another storm, kinda rainy so i got to spend some time in bed AGAIN! And mum fell asleep for the night!! She said she woke up around 230 and then I had to go to my own bed, but man, they're getting soft! (i'm not complaining!)

So thats the deal, i'll update some more when mum and dad aren't hogging, the computer. Although they did say something about going wireless, so maybe i'll be posting from my bed instead of my office some time soon!
