Acupuncture

Tink and I both went for an acupuncture treatment this morning. Nancy focused on clearing her head as well as points on her lower back to move some chi and help her legs. Tink also had 2 on her knees specifically to help with any knee stiffness. The one point in her head really caused a reaction, Tink went to lay down almost violently/very quickly and as soon as it was taken out she stopped.... She took what she needed from the point so I hope it helps. Immediately after the treatment she appeared much more alert and ready for the day! It was her mommy that needed a nap!

After our visit with Nancy, Tink and I took a trip to petsmart to pick up some treats! We found some Twistix which we both like for her, so of course we had to pick them up!

After a nice walk back here at the apartments Tink and I retired for a long nap...

I have the best dog ever!

Tink & Gracey

A LOONNNNGGG needed update! Several weekends ago, Nick, Tink and I went to visit Tiffany, Ron, Lilo, Odie and their foster Gracie. As you can see, Gracie really took to Tink : )

Tink always seems to know a "rescue" as she let Gracey sniff her and get into her space as long as she wanted to without snipping or warning her.

Gracey is SUCH a sweetheart, we would totally have brought her home if we were allowed 2 dogs.

Here is Tiff's Petfinder write up of Gracey. If you're interested you can contact NEBTR!!!
Gracey was recently rescued from a horrific environment in one of Lancaster, Pennsylvania's problem puppymills. She is a female boston terrier, approximately 4-5 years of age and currently weighs about 17.5 pounds. She came into my household filthy and with terrible sores on her feet from the wire cage she lived in. Despite her appearance, she was given a good bill of health by my vet. She is currently doing dramatically well! She is still very shy, but is loving and sweet. She is starting to learn how to live and act like a real dog! She is leash trained and is about 95% there with her potty training. She loves walks and to be in bed under the covers with my other two bostons. She also does well with other people and older children. She likes being with my two dogs, but is very calm and is still observing them as they play. Gracey needs a patient and loving person who will give her all the time and love that she so deserves. If you are interested in adopting her, please contact NorthEast Boston Terrier Rescue for more information. She is due to be spayed and have her dental cleaning on June 6, 2008, and will be ready to go soon there after.
